Bobbie Perkins

Mrs. Perkins was born on May 14, 1939 in Bartow County, daughter of the late Arthur and Rose Stephenson.

Mrs. Perkins retired from R.D. Simpson as a shipping supervisor. She was a true and faithful servant of the Lord and a proud member of Bethany Baptist Church. She loved spending time in the kitchen cooking meals for her loved ones, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Mrs. Perkins is preceded in death by her brother, Gene Stephenson; son-in-law, Carter Shaw; great-grandson, Aiden Shaw; beloved fur-baby, Simba.

Mrs. Perkins is survived by her loving husband of sixty-eight years, Carl Perkins; children, Gale Shaw, Dale (Steve Teems) Watkins; Danny (Vickie) Perkins; grandkids, Jenna Perkins, Levi (Amanda Hall) Shaw, Jake Watkins, Josh Watkins, Henley (Daniel) Miller; great-grandkids, Emmerson Shaw, Collins Miller and Crew Miller; sister, Mary McGhee; nephew, Lamar Stephenson; niece, Pam Gilland; special fur baby, Cookie.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at one o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 23rd of May, 2024 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. David Summey and Rev. Danny Willis officiating.

Serving as pallbearers are Levi Shaw, Jake Watkins, Josh Watkins, Daniel Miller, Steve Teems and Jimmy Summey.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from eleven o'clock in the morning until the hour of service at Owen Funeral Home.
