Barry Steven Strickland

Barry Steven Strickland, age 53 of Emerson, GA passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. He was born in Marietta, GA on April 16, 1969 to the late Gene Talmadge Strickland and Lois Crowe Strickland.

Barry is preceded in death by his brother, Randall “Herbie” Strickland; sister-in-law, Darlene Dupree Strickland; brother-in-law, Richard Collum and father-in-law, Hoyt Collum, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Robin Strickland; son, Michael Strickland; daughter, Sarah Strickland; mother-in-law, Linda Collum; aunts, Barbara Heath, Carolyn Moore; Uncle, Wayne Moore; nephews, Randall (Kacey) Strickland, Brian (Emily) Collum, Byron Collum, Bryce Collum; nieces, Tammy Wade, Alexis Collum, Madilyn Collum and Kathrine Collum; great nephew, Jake Strickland; great nieces, Brooke Strickland and Michelle Strickland great-great nieces, Rylee Low and Violet Collum; Special Cousins, Todd Heath (Sabrina) and Hannah Moore.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 8, 2022 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Jacobs officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
