Angie Faye Clark

Mrs. Clark was born June 29, 1960 in Rome, Georgia. She graduated from Coosa Valley High School in Rome and then Roffler School of Hair design in Marietta. She was a secretary at First Baptist Church in Rome for 5 years prior to hair school. She loved to cook healthy meals, ribs, pumpkin pies, chicken dishes. She loved helping people, kind and giving heart. She loved to travel, Cancun, Panama City, New York, Las Vegas and Myrtle Beach. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Grady & Vera Gentry; great grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. C.A. Rhoden.

Survivors include her husband, Scott Clark of Cartersville; daughter & son-in-law, Amanda & Jeremy Gronau of Savannah; son, Cory Brown of Atlanta; step daughter Kellie Clark of Cartersville; grandson, Brayden Uptegraff of Savannah; mother & step-father, Wanda & Randy Michaels of Rome; sisters & brothers, Jennifer Garrison Massy of Rome, Robert Overby of Rome, Robbie Gentry of Somerville, Jerry Todd Overby of Gwinnett; nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Monday, September 12th at 3:00 p.m. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Jones officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home.
