Timothy Dennis Johnson

Our beloved, kind hearted, gentle soul Tim has departed on his last adventure. He was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in Los Altos, California. He graduated from Homestead High School, University of California - Santa Barbara, and the University of Wyoming.

Tim’s first love was being in and around nature. He had numerous backpacking, camping, hiking, boogie boarding, snowboarding, and travel adventures with his friends and family.

Tim’s second love was being with his friends and family listening to music and going to a concert. Tim was an avid S.F. Giants’ fan. He enjoyed sharing travel advice of national and international places to visit, rivers to float, trails to hike and his general knowledge of nature. His friends and family have many fond memories of adventures and time shared with Tim which will live with us forever.

Tim is survived by his parents – Dennis and Sheryl Johnson of Los Altos, CA, his brother and family – Tom, Cora, and Sasha of Long Beach, CA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Tim’s name to the Tahoe Fund at tahoefund.org; 775-298-0035.
