Thomas William Mason

June 29, 1936 – September 26, 2023

Born June 29, 1936 in Merced, California to Lawrence H and Ardeth L Mason. He is survived by his two sisters Doris Trump and Roberta Miller, beloved husband of Diana L. Mason, loving father of Kelly A. Fuentes and her husband Michael, Kristina Stewart, and Scott T. Mason and his wife Kathleen, grandfather to Stephanie, Joseph, Kayla, Nicholas, Alexandria, Michael, Trista and Ryan. Caring great grandpa (GGPA) to fourteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He graduated from Encinal High School in Alameda, California and enlisted in the United States Army in 1954. He served his country in Germany until 1958.

He worked as a die maker and salesman for the corrugated industry for several years. He started a business, Pacific West Coast Steel Rule Dies, Inc. in Lagrange, California in 1971. He later expanded and opened a shop in Washington and a satellite shop in Oregon. He was a member of the International Association of Die Makers and Die Cutters (IADD) for several years. The business ended up in Turlock, California for 35 years.

He was baptized by Grace Church in Ceres, California and worked at the Bethlehem Play at the Grace Church for four years with his brother, Carl. He loved family time, reunions and holidays, camping and working with the kids in 4-H. He loved to travel and take cruises. He was loved and will be greatly missed.
