Ronald Carl Ekholm

He was preceded in death by his Father, Karl Ekholm, his mother, Hazel (Fleischer) Ekholm and daughter, Ronda (Ekholm) Larson.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, his children, Debra Nadel, Scott Ekholm, Jeff Ekholm, Melissa Chelberg and 3 stepchildren, Brad Ellingford, Kevin Ellingford and Cristi Ellingford: brothers Gerald Ekholm and Douglas Ekholm, 13 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.

He will be forever loved and miss by his family and friends.

Ron enjoyed cars of any type. His career was in the automotive industry encompassing many forms. He was an instrumental figure in the car show revolution of the 1950 and 1960’s. From there he went to customizing cars, working with George Barris in assisting in creating some of the most iconic custom cars; including the Batmobile, the Munster Mobile and many others. He continued his career in the collision repair industry until his retirement. During his retirement years he focused on the racing of cars.
