I am so sorry for your loss and hope you find comfort in the memories of your loved ones. Chuck had a very prominent life and great influence on so many young people in Dixon. He was a special and wonderful man.

Coach taught me a lot about basketball but he also taught me a lot about life as well. In my adult years, he was a good friend. I didn’t learn of his passing until much later. I miss him  and his positive words. 

Thanks for everything that you did for us. It was an honor to be on your team. Rest In Peace coach. 

So sorry to hear about Coach.  Saw him at the last Hall of Fame dinner when he was inducted.  I played for Coach 1960 to 1962.
I continued to play organized sports for three year in the service and four years of college.  I had many and was around many coaches.  Coach Ary was far and away the best.  He was very important in my life.  Great influence. The year I took off from sports between service and college Coach recruited me to practice with his team to give Floyd , from his best team, some work. Coach also got me a scholarship offer from Webber State.  
Great man, great career, great builder of men.  He will be missed.

 From Bob-a gentleman’s gentleman. A calm and steady presence. Full of wisdom and sound advice. An ever-present guide for young men and women. Mr. Ary touched and formed many young people in Dixon who grew into leaders and adults with a heart for their community, whether they remained in Dixon or scattered to other places far and near. Our part of the world was made better by having Mr. Ary in it.

Mr Ary (Coach), was one of the most influential men in my life. Along with my father, Claude . Mr Ary taught me all about sportsmanship and how to take on personal responsibilities. I named my son, Charles to honor Coach Ary.

Mr. Ary was one of a kind.  He was a great teacher, coach, and all around great guy.  I always remember that the students came first.  He was a great role model, and all of us in Dixon CA who knew him, were taught or coached by him, were lucky to have him in our lives.

I will always have fond memories of Mr. Ary.   He made a difference in this world!

Hi Alice I'm so sorry about Chuck.  I know he hadn't heard from Dad in a while. We had to put him in a nursing home. I'm sure that he will want to call you this afternoon when I see him..
I was just thinking about Chuck the other day when I was trying to remember Gloria Lambros's maiden name. I was thinking about Chuck and Gloria always out there teaching us PE.
I'm glad my dad and Chuck were able to stay in touch for so many years. I'm sending you our love and in praying for you and your family. Paula
