Tina Acosta, age 95, died on Tuesday, November 9th, 2021. She was born on March 4, 1926, in El Salvador, to the late Anselmo Rios and Rosa Villatoro. She passed away peacefully surrounded and cared for by her children and their spouses.
Tina married Juan Acosta in El Salvador and had 5 sons and 2 daughters. She was preceded in death by her husband Juan Acosta, son Elmer Acosta and daughter Reina Sariles. She is survived by her sons Joseph Hirtzan Acosta, Luis Acosta, Juan Acosta, Carlos Acosta and daughter Ethel Castro, 20 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
A private family service is being held at 9:00 a.m. Friday, November 12, 2021, at Metrocrest Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Hilltop Memorial Cemetery.
