Teresa Jean Siewinski

Teresa J. Siewinski, passed away at the age of 76 on August 4, 2016 after a long battle with heart disease and various health issues. She was born on February 4, 1940 in San Francisco, California and raised in Texas. She lived around the country as an Air Force wife of Master Sergeant Leonard L. Siewinski, raising five kids along the way, moving back to Texas in 1974 where her extended family lived. Teresa was a hard worker and always had a big smile with a great love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved playing cards and dominoes with her sisters on Sister Weekends. She also loved Charlie Pride, John Wayne and the Dallas Cowboys of the Tom Laundry era, especially Bob Lilly. She was a tough old bird with a quick wit but could not hold her liquor.

Survived by: Daughters, Laurie Guthrie (favorite), Janet Nichols (chopped liver) and her husband Mike; sons, Leo Siewinski (Dad’s mini-me) and his wife Julie, David Siewinski (her sweet David), Greg Siewinski (second favorite and her happy place) and his wife Karen; grandchildren, Greg Cannon, Jeff Cannon, Michal Baggs, M.J. Alami, Chris Alami, Leah Siewinski, Ashley Hornback, Sean Siewinski, Amber Mersberger, Elaina Riley, Taylor Riley; great grandchildren, Griffin, Blake, Grayson, Everett, Tate, Tinlee, Cambelle, Angelina, Phoenix, Jaiden, Kristen, Kayden, Carson, Camden, Ava Grace, Maddox, Cooper, Michael, Jaykob, Nicholas, Bella, Mariah, Gavin and Alex; sisters, Terry Owen, Bonnie Wolfe and Linda White; brother, Wilson Smith; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her identical twin Pat Bradshaw, mother Doris M. McDaniel Smith Colwell, step-mother J. Faye Smith, father Wilson R. Smith and son-in-law Kenneth W. Guthrie.

Memorial services will be held at the home of Greg & Karen Siewinski, 508 HInsdale Dr., Arlington, Texas 76006, Sunday, August 14, 2016, from 1:30pm until 3:30pm.
