Stephanie Eileen Davenport

Born January 19, 1971 to Larry and Debbie Burns, Stephanie brought abundant joy into our family. A soccer star and singer extraordinaire, Stephanie never met a stranger. Having taught herself German by age 12, Stephanie became an expert in conversation and culture. A world traveller, Stephanie resided in and around Dallas these forty-eight years. Over coffee and Café Brazil, Stephanie fell in love with Roger Davenport. The two were joined in Marriage on May 11, 1996. Together they blessed this world with five wonderful children. Always strong in faith, Stephanie fostered vocations to the priesthood and religious life, serving the Lord with joy and her family in gladness. A model of faithful womanhood, Stephanie saw God in the great and the tiny.

Champion lady bug finder. Beloved daughter. Loyal friend. Devoted spouse. Amazingly gifted mom. Loving sister. Stephanie is celebrated and mourned by her mom Debbie; her husband Roger, their five children: Brittany, Sean, Joey, Bobby and Debbie; her sister Julie and her husband Joseph; mother-in-law Kay Cauthorn and her husband Jim Read, brother-in-law Russ Davenport and his wife Shelly, and all who had the great good fortune to meet Stephanie.

Visitation and Rosary will be held at Rhoton Funeral Home, Carrollton TX, on Tuesday July 23, 2019 from 5 to 7p.m.

Funeral Mass will be offered at Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church, Irving TX Wednesday, july 24, 2019 at 10a.m, followed by interment at Plano Mutual Cemetery.
