He was born January 20, 1933, in Oklahoma, City and one of 5 brothers and 1 sister. He was a veteran of the Korean War and proud to be a United States Marine. He married Mary Mowdy in 1956 and spent over a half a century raising a family and building a career and businesses.

After coming back from war, he attended college at OCU as a young husband and father, while working for the US Postal Service. After graduation, they moved to the suburbs of Dallas, where he resided the rest of his life.

In Dallas, he worked as a city planner for the Dallas Community College District, and was the owner of several successful businesses. He joined his wife’s real estate business in the 80’s, where he spent over 25 years working with her until they both retired 2010.

His interests included computers, golf and travelling.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Pritchard; sister, Ethel Lawrence; 1 daughter, Bridgett Bonds, and his grandchildren, Heather Brigham Bennett and Stanford Lane, and 3 great grandchildren, 7 nieces, 4 nephews, 1 great niece, 4 great nephews, and 1 brother-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Pritchard-Lane, his parents, William and Bertha, and his brothers, Carl, William, Donald and James and his grandson, Richie Brigham.
