Sandra Lynn Taylor (Schutz) of Carrollton, Texas Born October 17, 1954 at Tripler Army Hospital, Honolulu, Hawaii. Entered the Gates of Heaven on May 13, 2018. Her devoted husband of 22 years was by her side as she was greeted with open arms into eternal life.
Sandy fought hard through her long battle with cancer. She never gave up. She was an inspiration to many.
She was predeceased by her father William F. Schutz in 1990 and shortly followed into heaven by her mother, Janet D. Schutz, 23 hours later on May 14, 2018.
Survivors include her best friend and husband , Ronald M. Taylor, children Veronica M. Taylor of Tracy, California. Lauren A. Taylor of Manteca, California, Javier Contreras, the father of Sandy's grandchildren, and the grandchildren Gabriella Contreras, Lilliana Irene Contreras and Maximus Xavier Contreras. Siblings, Susan L. Hatfield of Ft. Worth, Texas, Shari L. Bigger and husband Gary of Brownwood, Texas, Lisa D. Wofford and husband Benton of Bedford, Texas, Randy Schutz and wife LaTresa of Mesquite, Texas, Scott A. Schutz and wife Valerie of Mesquite, Texas. Numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Sandy's hobbies included travelling (mostly on two wheels), cooking, shopping, and family. She also enjoyed just hangin' out when not working.
Work was a big part of her life. Sandy was an Assistant Vice President & Senior Account Manager with FM Global for 27 plus years. Always the ultimate professional she was respected, highly regarded and loved by all those she worked with, colleagues, clients and brokers. She was a dedicated member of URMIA since 2004 and appointed Chair in 2014. Her loyalty, commitment and devotion to her career were beyond compare and she was a joy to work with and a friend to all.
Flowers may be sent two days prior to service. Donations may also be made in Sandy's name to any animal shelter of your choice.
