Ronald Preston Walker

Ronald Preston Walker, also know as Ron, Ronnie, Ronald P, RP, 12 and Quelve, died peacefully in his sleep Monday September 27th, 2021. Ron was born in Lubbock Texas and lived in Starkville Mississippi, Norman Oklahoma, and Carrollton Texas. He was a remodeling contractor until his retirement. He is proceeded in death by his parents Wade H and Jean Walker and his sister Carol Walker Simmons.

Ron is survived by his wife of 35 years, Karen,

And his children Wade, Brandy, Zachariah, and Carley Jean. He was adored 'Grumps' to his four grandchildren Zoe, Hunter, Perry and Katie.

Ron loved fishing, music and was a master carpenter and superb gardener. He always said I may be old but I got to see all the best bands live! He loved to tell stories of his youth, some saltier than others. He was the type of guy to help any person he came in contact with, and not tell a soul. He loved people and made a friend with every new conversation he had. His loving spirit and was comforting and reassuring. His legacy will continue on in the love and care he shared so freely in this world.

The Celebration of his life will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 4000 Midway Road, Carrollton TX at 3pm on Saturday, October 2nd 2021. In lieu of flowers the family requests you donate to the Friends of Noxubee Wildlife Refuge.
