Patricia was preceded in death by he mother, Pearl Hobson, and her brothers, Charles Hobson and Bill Hobson. She is survived by her sister and brother-In-law, Gene and Sherry Pittman, her niece and her husband , Mark and Darcie Hill, her nephew and his wife, Scott and Elizabeth Pittman, and five great niece and nephews; Callie Hill, Abbie Hill, Isaac Hill, Mattie Pittman, and Henry Pittman.
Patricia graduated from Berryville High School in Arkansas and received her undergraduate degree from ETBU and her Masters in business education from UNT. She taught at Cooke County Junior College for 26 years in the business department before retiring in 1987.
Patricia was an active member First Baptist at the Fields in Carrollton, Texas, and she had a missionary heart. She contributed toward many mission causes, including a clinic and school in Kenya. She looked for opportunities to help people and touch countless lives with her generosity and compassion. Her contributions were often given anonymously. She was also known for writing notes of encouragement
to those who were going through struggles and crises.
Patricia was the image of dignity, grace, selflessness, and love. Every family member treasures the memories of her sharp mind, her contagious laughter, her wit, and her love for desserts, especially ice cream.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the building fund at First Baptist Church at the Fields, Texas Baptist Men or the Gideon's
