Jackie, Mike and I were saddened when we saw Michael's obituary. I know it has been a while since but we just wanted you and your family to know how sorry we were when we read about it. It has been a while since we last saw one another but just wanted you to know how sorry we were.

I never expected what I heard on the other end of the line when I received the call. My heart was broken. I was not prepared for the news or for the day to come so soon that I had to say goodbye to you. I wish I could have seen you or at least talked to you one more time. I miss you and will always love you, Uncle Mike.

4 months and still so hard to believe your gone daddy, I miss seeing your smile and hearing you saying " the midget is awake " or are laughing/picking at each other and with momma' I MISS YOU SO MUCH Daddy, your good advice as to things I should do in my life and way I should go. I Love You daddy...Lord Why him?

Aunt Jackie, I truly don't  believe that there are many men like Mike. I remember as far back as a old black truck under a shade tree at Janie Stark and myself under an old willow tree watching Mike polish that truck for hours. I loved how he picked at momma Peggy  and made her SMILE, I loved him and I love you. Wes

Well baby I just  don't  know what to say,because I could  never  see my world  without  you in  it. You have no idea how much I MISS YOU  and  how lonely  I am without you ,I ask God all the time why you?a man with a hart of gold,a man that worked  his whole life to take care of his family. A man that loved GOD.I know in  my hart that GOD  was ready  for  you to go home with him,But it is so hard  to go. On  with out you hear on earth with me.Just to hear  your voice, and see that sweet smiling face .Dear God I miss you so much,I just pray THAT GOD  will give me the strength  to go on  without you,YOU where my whole  world, I love you Henegar.

I have many fond memories of Mike when he served as a volunteer  District Chief for me in The  Colony Fire Department.   A great man and really good friend.

This is a sad day for me since I just found out when we were talking earlier! Your and Mike's visits to get a vehicle were always such fun! And Misty is correct your banter back and forth was so cute. I just felt batter every time I saw ya'll. God bless you and call me back if you need anymore advice regarding the Explorer.

Mike was one of the Good Guy. I loved his wit, and love for family, loved to visit. I know GOD will welcome him into his loving arms and enjoy him like so many of us who were blessed to know him. I pray that God will keep you uplifted through family, friends and great memories.

You have been an awesome example of a man, friend, grandparent, and family member...will never forget your laugh and talking about football and everything else. Mike will be greatly missed... He was a great friend and I will truly miss going to the high school football games together.  May the Lord give the family a sense of peace during this difficult time. RIP my friend!

Mike was one of the Good Guys, when at FOMOCO, he and I would sit around and solve all the World's problems. His quiet wit was hilarious yet on point.  I know GOD will welcome him into his arms and enjoy him like so many of us who really knew him did. Jackie and Misty, we can't tell you how sorry we are for your loss but know Mike will always be missed by the lucky ones who got to be around him.

Mike was a very wonderful man whom i looked up to while i was a young kid and even in to my adult years. Unknowingly, Mike was a mentor in my life by being the type of father a young man as myself would want to be. I will keep in great regards his unconditional love to his loved ones and his kindness. Mike was a good husband and father, and will be sorely missed. He was honest, and one of the hardest working people I've had the privilege to work with. We shared lots of struggles & laughs over the past forty years of working, playing softball, and running around.  I am proud to call you friend, and feel blessed for sharing that with you. You touched a lot of lives in your short span on earth.  I know you are now in a place where there is no more pain and sorrow, and I do l look forward to seeing you again!

Mike was a fellow volunteer fire fighter and medic in the early days when there was just vilunteers. He cared enough for his community to answer the calls for fires, wrecks and ambulance service. He was a great guy. I'll always remember him driving that jet black Ford Lightning Pickup. Condolences to the entire family. Rest in Peace Mike.

Grandpa Mike, Words can not come anywhere near how heartbroken I am to loose such a wonderful man & Grandpa. You were such a great influence in my life. Yours & Gran-gran's marriage has always been a marriage & relationship I've always wanted. I can only hope pray that Justin & I have a marriage like y'all's. I'm blessed to have given birth to Jethro (your very first great grandson) on the very same day & time as your birthday.
