She was born in Floresville, Texas on July 3rd, 1938 to William and Elzada Ivy.
She was married to Lawrence Wesley Harris on May 16th, 1953. They were married 42 years and raised 5 rowdy boys, as well as a great grandson, Christopher that she raised as her own.
Martha had a career as a meat wrapper for Tom Thumb.
Some of Martha’s favorite passions in life was spending time with her family who were the most important to her. She loved attending all Christopher's baseball and basketball games. Family vacations were some of her most cherished memories, beach trips, camping and traveling adventures all over the states. She loved going to church and worshiping her Lord. She loved her dogs and you better too! There was no denying she had a special bond with her dogs.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents; William and Elzada Ivy, husband; Lawrence Wesley Harris, children; Lawrence Wesley Harris Jr(Scooter) and Jessie Franklin Harris, and siblings; Leon Ivy, Jessie Ivy, Ida Jo Bray and Betty Lamb
She is survived by William Harris, Darryl and Mary Harris, John and Marie Harris. 16 grandkids, 26 great grandkids and 9 great-great grandkids.
