Margie Jean Baker

Margie Jean Gorden Baker, 86 of Leonard, Texas passed away Tuesday February 25, 2014 at Baylor Medical Center of McKinney. She was born June 6, 1927 in Lufkin, Texas to her parents Walter Gorden and Lula Bowman.

Margie was the youngest of four children. She married Fulton Baker in Wichita Falls, Texas on January 14, 1944. They had 3 Children. She was a long time resident of Lewisville, Texas for 12 years. She was employed by Lewisville ISD as a Cafeteria Worker for 12 years. Margie was a member of First Baptist Church of Lewisville. She enjoyed Gardening and Family.

Margie will be remembered by her loving family and their children; Dennis Baker of Doltan, Al, George C Baker of Chickasha, Ok, Fulton C Baker of Leonard, Texas. She is also survived by Grandsons, Matthew Baker of Wilmington, NC, Jeffrey Holloway of Grandview, Tx, Clark Baker of Plano, Tx, and Justin Baker of Austin, Tx. Granddaughters Audra Baker of San Francisco, CA, Tiffany Pots of Leonard, Tx and Amy Coello of Ozaek, Ak. 15 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Fulton Coolidge Baker and Parents George Gorden and Lula Bowman, brother Jessie Gorden and Sister Marie Wills.
