Laymon James "Jim" Maness, Jr., 81, of Carrollton, TX passed away December 31, 2014, in Carrollton. He was born July 19, 1933 in Kannapolis, NC. Mr. Maness was a veteran of the US Navy. Memorial services are scheduled for 3pm Thurdsay, January 8, 2015, at Holy Covenant United Methodist Church, 1901 E Peters Colony Rd., Carrollton, TX 75007. Inurnment at DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, TX, with full military honors, will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Rhoton Funeral Home, 1511 South I35 E, Carrollton, TX 75006.
