Kurian Mani, son of the late Kurian Kunjukurian and Annamma Kurian was born on May 21st, 1944, in Thottakad, Kerala. He was the youngest child in the Pullolickal family of eight (4 boys and 4 girls). He received his Bachelor's degree in Political Science in 1970 from S.B. College Chanaganacherry. He then married Rachel Vadakkara on October 8, 1973.
In 1974, he joined his wife in America and moved to Dallas, Texas. Together they had two children, Manoj and Mini. He was one of the early pioneers of St. Mary Orthodox Church in Dallas, Texas in 1974 where he served as Church Secretary. He was a devoted Orthodox Christian. He was a loving, compassionate, and kind man, who touched the lives of everyone he met.
Kurian was a beloved grandfather, father, husband, brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife Rachel, and children Manoj and Mini Mani. He was a wonderful grandfather to his three grandchildren: Rani, Kezia and Devin Joseph. He is also survived by his brother Abraham Kurian, brother-in-law Mathew Abraham, and many cousins, nephews and nieces.
Kurian Mani will be greatly and forever missed every day by his family. They are all very proud and blessed to have had him in their lives. As they say goodbye to his physical presence, they are comforted knowing that his spirit will always be a part of them.
