Cordelia DuVall. He met his wife of 62 years, Ina Jane Story, in Bixby Oklahoma where she was a bank
teller. They married in December 1949 and during Kenneth’s enlistment in the US Navy, spent several
years living in San Diego California. After his discharge, they decided to make their way back home to
Arkansas and spent the night in Dallas. Waking up the next morning they found the weather to
remind them of San Diego, so they decided to stick around and see what Dallas had to offer. They
never made it back to Arkansas and spent the rest of their years living in the Dallas area. Their first
home was in Farmers Branch, followed by a move north to Carrollton. In 1965 their daughter Teresa
Jane was born. Kenneth worked as a truck driver for Central Freight Lines from 1954 until 1982. He
received numerous safe driving awards and accumulated 25 years of accident free driving. Retiring
from truck driving, he then started his own charter bus company, Dalworth Charter & Tours. He
enjoyed many more years of travel, taking groups on tours across the United States and Canada.
Kenneth was an excellent bowler and also loved gospel and country music, especially his favorites Bob
Wills and Hank Williams.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife Ina (2011); brothers Floyd, Lloyd,
R.B., J.R., Earl and Charles Lee DuVall; sisters NoraLee Hibbs, CoraRee Bartenbach, Juanita Ferguson
and Bettie Lou Clifton. He is survived by his daughter Teresa and her husband Don Walker; sister
Margaret Euleta and her husband Norris Doddridge, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Brookdale Farmers Branch staff and
community who took such wonderful care of Kenneth for many years.
