Judith Andrea Chambers, aged 85, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025, in Grapevine, Texas. She was born on February 1, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois.
Judy was the beloved wife of Ronald Chambers, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her three daughters, Tracy, Caryn (and husband Tim), and Jill (and husband Matt). Judy was a proud grandmother to Joelle, Scott, Ethan, and Katy.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Bernhard and Florence, and her four sisters, Jeanne, Mary, Alice, and Sally.
Judy deeply loved her family, her church, and her community. She was particularly passionate about women's Bible study and was instrumental in setting up an addiction recovery group at her former church in Des Plaines, Illinois. She lifted the spirits of many with her commentaries sharing her enjoyment and thoughts on local nature, reminding us to stop a minute and enjoy God’s creation.
A memorial service to celebrate Judy's life will be held at Bear Creek Bible Church in Keller, Texas on Friday, February 21 at 2:00 pm. The service will also be livestreamed on the Bear Creek Bible Church Youtube channel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Shriners Hospital or Victory Therapy (https://www.victorytherapy.org) in Judy's name.
Judy will be deeply missed by all who knew her but we know she is enjoying sweet fellowship with her Lord and Savior.
