Lifetime Irving resident, Johnnie Louise Crites Tigert passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020, after diagnosed with Alzheimer’s 23 years ago. She is survived by son Wes Parker (Sandi), John Douglas (Mauri), granddaughter Christina Rosen (Brett), great-grandchildren Parker and Paisley Rosen, step-granddaughter Jennifer Tratree (Billy), and step-great-grandsons Noah, Nash, and Nike. She is also survived by a brother, Harry Crites (Nell). She is pre-deceased by her Mother, Father, four brothers, as well as husbands Marvin Parker, Carroll Moore Douglas, Joe Hill, and Jerry Tigert. Services are being held at Metrocrest Funeral Home in Carrollton on Monday, June 15, 2020 at 11:00. She will be laid to rest at Hilltop Cemetery in Carrollton next to her first love Marvin who died in 1959.
