On Friday, November 27th, 2020, John Anatasio Garza, loving and devoted father of three children, passed away at the age of 76. John was born on January 22, 1944 in Weimer, Texas to Federico & Rosa Garza. He was a proud Union carpenter for his entire adult life. He brought into this world three children, Lauri, Cristopher, and Craig.
John had an unwavering passion and dedication to his family. Throughout his life he provided an abundance of support to all his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. His greatest support came in the form of unconditional love and support few experience. He was known for a smile that lit up a dark room and a laugh that was infectious to all around. His legacy is a collection of stories meant to inspire others, comfort with laughter, and a poignant wisdom seldom seen.
John was preceded in death by his father, Frederico, his mother, Rosa, and his daughter, Michelle.
He is survived by his three children, eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren as well as his siblings, Janie, Frederico, Marciano, and his baby brother Raymond, plus many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
