Hugh Paul Campbell entered eternal rest on April 11, 2016. He was born May 4, 1934 to Hugh and Clara Campbell in New York. Hugh attended Springhill College and Southern Methodist University and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business. He joined the Army in 1957 and served with the missile program in White Sands, New Mexico. He owned and was President of Campbell Manufacturing Co. Hugh attended Lovers Lane United Methodist Church where he was a member of the Adams and Eves Sunday school class. He loved and was truly devoted to his wife, Judy, from the day they met. He was her best friend and partner in life. They played tennis and golf together for over thirty years at Brookhaven Country Club. He was very gifted in business, wood-working and had great mechanical abilities and also enjoyed taking the family to plays and musicals. Family dinners were a favorite. He took great pride in teaching and mentoring his children to be the best they could be. He enjoyed his friends immensely and still had lunch regularly with classmates that had attended Jesuit and Holy Trinity elementary school with him. He was a loving, caring, gracious father, husband and friend who was never too busy to help others in any way he could. Words cannot say how he will be missed, but he will always be remembered and deeply loved by all who knew and loved him.
