Edna Mae Elliott

Edna Elliott of Carrollton, Texas passed away peacefully on August 14, 2017 at the age of 82, after a courageous battle of heart disease. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother. Edna was born in Denton County, Texas on January 10, 1935. She resided in Carrollton for the past 58 years where she raised her family. She started her professional career at Texas Instruments where she then retired after 38 years, then became employed at Walmart Mail Order Pharmacy for 19 years prior to her death.

She was a warrior for Christ at Northside Baptist Church for 57 years. The loss of her deep devotion will be keenly felt by each of us. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vearley & Iona Lewis, Sister Virginia Skinner and twin sister, Vearly Elliott. Edna was survived in death by sister, Johnnie Pyle, children: Yvonne & husband David Darden, Daughter Ruth McNeely, son Bobby & wife Stephanie Elliott, 7 Grandchildren: Kim & husband James Wilson, Christi & husband Mark Mundie, Jason & wife Amanda Vaden, Whitney Elliott, Emilie Elliott, Holly Elliott, Summer Elliott, 8 Great Grandchildren: David Helton, Tanner Wilson, Cody Mundie, Trace Wilson, Tori Wilson, Tyler Mundie, Taylor Vaden, Addalyn Smith and numerous family and friends.

Family will receive visitors Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm. at Northside Baptist Church

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Northside Baptist Church with Brother Mark Dallalio officiating. Burial will be at Hilltop Cemetery in Carrollton, Texas.
