Eddie Ruiz, 67, of Carrollton,Texas, departed on Thursday, January 17th, 2019. He was born in Bryan, Texas, September 26th, 1951. He married Irene Herrera Ruiz in May 30th, 1970. He leaves his legacy with his four children: Michael Ruiz (Christina), Michelle Parrish (Nathanael), Mark Ruiz, Micah Ruiz. He also leaves his memory to be cherished with his six grandchildren: Ashley (Nestor) Sandoval, Micah Anthony, Devin Ruiz, and Natalie, Nicole, and Neil Parrish. He is one of six children: four brothers and one sister, Eloy Ruiz Jr., Esteban Ruiz, Eloisa Fabila, Elias Ruiz, and Eden Ruiz. Eddie had recently retired and was overjoyed to explore that chapter in his life. He relished all types of sports, such as NASCAR and NHRA, as well as the outdoors, camping, and hunting. Eddie was no stranger to a friendly game of tackle football, leaving an epic memory this past Thanksgiving with his family; not letting his ripe age of 67 get in his way. There was never a person Eddie met whom he didn’t become friends with and left an everlasting impression in their hearts. He was naturally kind, friendly, generous, and loving to everyone that crossed his path. He had an amazing sense of humor that brought laughter, and an aura of happiness to the room. He is preceded by his father Eloy Ruiz Sr. and his mother Ophelia Garcia. He will live forever in our hearts.
