"To begin to comprehend what has happened is something that can never be fully understood. There are too many unanswered questions, too many what if’s, why’s and how’s. Now is the time to learn to come to terms with this loss of a loved one and gain of an angel...Crystal is and always will be that one child that has been unfortunately frozen in time. It is up to the people that knew her and loved her to remember and keep her alive in spirit so she can live on and not miss out on anything that she could have done herself. To give her the experience in life that she should have had but was taken from her. She was very high spirited but a very soft spoken girl who loved to help those who could not help themselves. She excelled in her classes, her teachers would agree. She was always looking for something greater, more answers, tougher challenges. She loved her grandparents Ofelia and Adrian Sanchez for being there when times were tough, for loving her like no other, for teaching her faith through church. And most importantly, for being her parents. Her brother Angel would always look out for her like a big brother should and would also be tough on her like a big brother normally would. Her Aunts and Uncle Elizabeth, Brenda, and Paul also were a great part of her life, they were there when she was in diapers, to when she was crawling, then walking and running and singing away. They treated her like their youngest sibling including Angel. Crystal had a lot of family including her Aunts and Uncles who live in California, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, And Mexico. They too have also played an important role in her life. They all have emotionally physically and mentally help mold her to become the wonderful young lady we all knew and still love. They have showed nothing but love and support to my parents and for that, we are grateful. Her selflessness was something that has impacted many colleagues around her; it has left a memory of good faith that there still were people in this world who put others ahead of themselves. The way she left, without saying goodbye was not to burden us with the hurt it may have caused but to help us understand what her true meaning in life was."
