Betty was born on June 28, 1940 in Bickmore, West Virginia to William Leff and Sarah Jane Brown. She was the eighth of sixteen children. Betty is survived by her sisters Madeline Williams, Malinda Cole, Delta Sault, Barbara Bauer, and Sharon Hernandez and by her brothers Doddy, Charles, Golden Lee, and Fredrick. She also leaves behind her children, Jerry Smith, Ronnie Smith, and Julie Arndt. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Toni Leigh, Jeremy, Brandi Louise, Haylie, Logan, Lily, Kayla, Acelin, and Nevaeh.
Memorial services for Betty will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Rhoton Funeral Home, 1511 South I35-E, Carrollton, Texas 75006.
