Anh Ngoc Nguyen

Anh was born in Gia Dinh, Vietnam on December 21,1941, to Kien Nguyen. Anh was married to Tu Van Nguyen on May 25, 1959; they were married for 45 years prior to Tu’s passing on July 2, 2004.

Prior to retirement, Anh worked at Tyson Foods Van Buren for 23 years. She enjoyed reading, cooking, watching movies, karaoke, and especially loved family gatherings that included food and games such as Bingo and Blackjack. She was an active member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ Vietnamese Parish and enjoyed working in the Church kitchen every week, volunteering to setup and sell food after the Sunday masses.

Anh is preceded in death by her husband Tu Van Nguyen and daughter Thu Van Nguyen.

Anh is survived by her eight children: Chanh and his wife Liem of Santa Ana, Nga and her husband Nghia of Carrollton, Long and his wife Huong of Carrollton, Hung and his wife Trang of Carrollton, Giang and her husband Gabriel of Berkeley Heights, Thuy and her husband Mike of Flower Mound, Tam of Denton, Thao and her husband Alan of Springdale. She also has fourteen grandchildren: Chuong, Thy Suong, Quynh-Mai, Quynh-Huong, Grace, Anthony, Viet, Vinh, Tristan, Maxime, Nicolas, Olivia, Lauren, Josh, and seven great-grandchildren: Khanh Nhi, Khanh Linh, Minh Duc, Tien Dat, Lucas, Theodore, and Penelope.

Visitation for Anh is scheduled for Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 3:00 – 7:00 P.M. and on Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 5:00 – 9:00 P.M. at Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton, TX. The funeral Mass will begin on Friday, May 31, 2024, 9:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ Church in Carrollton, TX. Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery. Procession will be led by Chanh Nguyen with pallbearers Long Nguyen, Hung Nguyen, Nghia Duong, Gabriel Nee, Michael Cobb, and Alan Dorman.
