Agnes Lillian Teaney

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Agnes Lillian Teaney on December 28, 2017. She was born on September 3, 1935 in Waterford, New York to John and Lena Cronin. She was baptized at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church, attended Catholic school growing up and was a member of the glee club. She was a homemaker, Bluebird leader, homeroom volunteer, worked in medical collections and cheerfully retired with the beloved job of carpooling and watching the grandkids after school. Agnes enjoyed ceramics, singing, bingo, cake decorating, baking fresh bread/cookies and attending the Saturday Catholic service at her apartments. She believed God was in every church. She was the happiest spending quality time with her family and friends. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Plano, TX. She was a beautiful soul and will be greatly missed/cherished. She loved butterflies/angels and told her loved ones to “always be good.” She was a gentle soul who found the good in everyone she met. Agnes is preceded in death by her parents; son, Gary and sister, Elizabeth and granddaughter, Natalie. She is survived by her daughter, Laurie and husband Chris; son, Steve and spouse Irma; grandchildren, Stephen and spouse Amanda, Angela and spouse Brian, John, Christina and spouse Michael, Amanda and spouse Terry, Paul and fiancée Kim, Nicole, Lauren and Emily; great grandchildren, Callie, Skylar, Jordan, Jacob, Amy, Hope, Trae, Addison, Sydney, Enzley, Sean, Nick, Blaise, Savannah, Raffi and Maddison. A Visitation will be held at Ted Dickey Funeral Home 2128 18th St. Plano, TX 75074 on Saturday January 6, 2018 at 10:00 am. A Funeral Service will be held immediately following at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to New Hope Hospice 2208 Highway 121 #180 Bedford, TX 76021.
