Marilyn Ruddell Lohss of Carmel, Indiana passed away on March 4, 2025. She was born January 24, 1930 in Kokomo, Indiana. After graduation from Kokomo High School in 1948, she attended Butler University where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. There she met David Edward Lohss and they were married November 18, 1951 in Sweeney Chapel on the Butler Campus. Survivors include sons Mark Lohss and Brian Lohss (Paula), daughters Meg Knop and Leigh Conaway (Tad), six grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years David Edward Lohss. A Celebration of Life will be held at Cornerstone Lutheran Church (formerly Carmel Lutheran Church by which she was a founding member) 4850 E. Main Street, Carmel, IN on April 19, 2025 with visitation at 10:00 am, memorial service at 11:00 am and a reception to follow. Burial at Albright Cemetery in Kokomo will be at a later date. Memorials are suggested to Humane Society of Hamilton, Co., Cornerstone Lutheran Church or Lutheran Child and Family Services.
