Linda M. Clark

85, of Westfield, Indiana departed this life on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Linda was born on August 11, 1939 in New Castle, Indiana to the late Estle & Marie J. (Beckett) Waln. She grew up and attended schools in New Castle and was a 1957 graduate of New Castle-Henry Township High School. After high school, she attended and graduated from House of James Beauty College.

Linda met R. Taylor Clark while attending Indiana Rural Youth Square Dance. They were married on October 27, 1963. Taylor died January 6, 1991. Linda worked most of her life in the insurance field. She was a longtime and dedicated member of Christ United Methodist Church in Westfield, the Order of Eastern Star, and the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem.

She was a kind and gentle soul who was humble and always appreciative of the little things in life. She enjoyed learning others life stories and sharing her own. To relax, Linda loved to read especially her Bible and watch her favorite television shows.

Linda is survived by a host of dear friends at Sanders Glen Assisted Living and special friend and caregiver, Mary Ann Gerth.

Graveside service will be Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 12:00pm at South Mound Cemetery in New Castle, Indiana where Linda will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Sanders Glen Assisted Living, 334 S. Cherry Street, Westfield, Indiana.
