86, of Carmel, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. Doris was born April 11, 1936 in Morrow, Ohio to Roy and Lula (Hill) Creech. Doris was a graduate of Morrow High School, and worked many years for Burroughs, later to become Unisys.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 48 years George C. Monter, her sister Juanita Crawford, and her daughter Patricia Monter.
Doris leaves behind her loving daughter Kathy Bowman, Judy (Roger) Mazzolani, Nancy (Dan) Fell. Along with 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, with a great grandchild and a great great grandchild on the way, in March of 2023. As well as her niece Debbie Trent, nephew Rod Carroll, and many other family members and friends.
A visitation for Doris will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Leppert Mortuary Carmel, 900 N. Rangeline Road, Carmel, IN, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00pm. A private burial will be held in Carmel Cemetery.
