Robert is remembered by his wife, Joan; children, Rodney Smith, Connie (Curtis) Janis, Cindy (Jayson) Humphries, Kelvin Smith; grandchildren, Greg (Jen) & Kylie (Matt) Spry, Kristen Humphries (Ethan Stork), Chelsea (Cole) Rae-Plouffe, Sydney Greg) Zohner, Payton (Eric) Humphries; great-grandchildren, Remi & Rowyn Stork, Caius & Caige Rae-Plouffe, Zora Zoner. Predeceased by 2 brothers & 4 sisters.
