Willie was born November 26, 1951 In Oklahoma City to the late Wilford Foresee and Billie Ruth Young Foresee.
She is survived by her children, Amber Davie and Anthony “Tony” Geraci of Spearfish, South Dakota as well as two grandchildren , Ariana and Shaun Loyer of California.
Willie is also survived by her two sisters, Betty (Bob) Chatham of Oklahoma City, and Janie (Charles) Dukes of N. Richland Hills, Texas as well as a nephew, five nieces and great nieces and nephews.
Willie graduated from Carl Albert High School in Midwest City, Oklahoma in 1970. She went to barber school in Little Rock, Arkansas and was a barber for 30 years. She owned a barber shop in Memphis, Tennessee and also worked in Oklahoma City, Arkansas and California.
Willie retired to Matlacha and Pine Island, Florida about 2012. She worked at the pink motel as innkeeper and at a gift shop in Matlacha. Willie was a gifted artist and crafter. She liked to paint coconuts, sew and crochet. She most recently has made intricate needle felted dolls.
For the last few years she has lived in N. Ft. Myers with her special friend, Carl Christianson.
The family wishes to thank these special friends who attended Willie during her battle with cancer. A special thank you goes to Carl Christianson for loving our sister and being with her at the end of her life. Thank you also to Mabel of the Lopez family for food that Willie could eat on her chemotherapy days. Your kindness is an example of God’s love.
There will be a Zoom meeting Celebration of Life on Saturday April 19 , 2025 at 1:00 p.m. eastern daylight time zone.
