Walter Marshall

On Wednesday, October 21, 2015 - Walter Marshall of Cape Coral passed away at the age of 86. After graduation from high school Walter joined the US Navy serving from 1950-1954 and obtained the rank of Commissaryman 3rd Class.

Walter had a passion for baking turning that into a lifelong career working for over 20 years as District Bakery Supervisor for Publix grocery stores. Walter enjoyed golfing, traveling, painting and loved collecting clowns. Walter loved his family - wife, children, step children and grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his son Walter Kurt Marshall and his daughter Anna Marshall. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 31 years, Virginia M. Marshall; his sister Gloria McCabe; his adoring grandchildren, Jessica Marshall (Candra Marshall), Nicole Casiano, Amanda Marshall, Heather Marshall and Brandon Marshall and a great grandchild Emerson Marshall; his loving step children, Dan Deniston, Tony Deniston, Jeff Deniston, Janice Jones and Kim Hagerstrom; also 10 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren.

Family and friends will honor Walter's life at Coral Ridge Funeral Home & Cemetery at 1630 SW Pine Island Road, Cape Coral, Florida 33991 on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 1:00-2:00 where a service will be held beginning at 2:00pm. Interment Coral Ridge Cemetery with Military Honors.
