

Rosalie Carvelli (Rufo) Quinton entered the Kingdom of God on Sunday, December 12, 2021. Born in Newton, MA, she was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Santa Guzzi Carvelli and siblings, Mary Carvelli Mount, Vincent James Carvelli, and Louis Salvatore Carvelli. Also, preceded in death by husbands Alfred W. Rufo and James R. (Ray) Quinton. After 60+ years of New England winters, Ro and Ray retired to Lake Fairways in North Ft Myers, FL in 1996.
Rosalie is survived by her niece Barbara (Ernie) Hartong, Columbus, OH, niece Jayne Carvelli Sheehan (Janice Murphy), Framingham, MA, nephews Peter (Colleen ) Carvelli, Aspen, CO, and David (Elizabeth) Carvelli, Boston, MA., nephew Donald Mount, Zanesville, OH. Also survived by step-sons Glen (Tineka) Quinton, Seattle, WA, and Joseph (Neila) Quinton, Framingham, MA. She will also be fondly remembered by her many New England cousins, Mary Louise and Joseph Pacione, Mary Carvelli D'Alleva, Vincent (Jimmy) (Janet) Carvelli, Paul (Pat) Carvelli, Louie (Patty) Carvelli, , Rosanne (George) Ford, and John (Debbie) Carvelli. She will also be remembered for her love of her Italian heritage by her many friends in the Boston area and North Ft. Myers.
Her family would like to also thank the staff and caregivers of Brookdale Muirfield, Dublin, OH where she spent the last five and a half years of her life and to the Brookdale Hospice team for their compassionate care. Private services and burial will be held at Coral Ridge Cemetery, Cape Coral, FL, at a later date. Those who would like may make a contribution in Rosalie’s memory to their local Alzheimer’s Association.
