Roberta Jean Boone Cristantiello

Roberta Jean Cristantiello (Boone), 86, of Cape Coral, FL, passed away at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, FL on Sept 13, 2016 at 9:05PM. She was married on Sept. 17, 1948 to James Rocco Cristantiello who predeceased her on April 8, 2007.

Roberta grew up on a farm land in Litchfield, Ohio. She moved to Florida with her husband and children, and she lived in Cape Coral for over 40 years. Roberta and James were members of Palmetto Pines Country Club. Roberta never learned how to drive a car, but she sure knew how to drive a golf cart. She had many hobbies like gardening, golfing, cooking, baking, and playing cards.

She was an incredibly hospitable woman, too. She frequently opened her home for family gatherings and holidays, and family and friends were welcome to come over whenever they would like throughout the year. Her favorite drink was Pepsi. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, and she fancied music from Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli. Her beauty, her kindness, her wittiness, her compassion, and her welcoming spirit will be missed by every person who knew her.

Along with her husband, her oldest child, James Stephen Cristantiello, predeceased her on April 18, 2010. She is survived by her daughters, Toni Campbell, of Cape Coral, Michele Cristantiello, of Cape Coral, Lisa Wiseman and Lisa’s husband, Steve Wiseman, of Ohio; her son, Stephen Cristantiello, of Cape Coral; her brother, Ronald Boone, of Ohio; her sister, Ardeen McKay, of Ohio; her seven grandchildren, of FL; and last but not least, her nine great-grandchildren, of FL.

Visitation will take place at 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 SW Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral, FL. Services will be held 10:00 am, Monday, September 19 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
