Rita S. Stachowski Leo

Rita Gloria (Stachowski) Leo, 87 of Cape Coral, Florida passed away on Tuesday August 14, 2012. She was born May 19, 1925 in Hinsdale Village, Dupage County, Illinois to Bill and Kathy Stachowski. She worked for Western Electric 40 years as a Work Manager and Secretary. Roy and Rita retired to Cape Coral where Rita remained very active as president of the Cape Coral Art League, president of the Pioneers Club and belonged to the Sharps and Flat Organ Club.

Rita is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Roy G. Leo; cousins Walter (Betty) Mazur, Donna (Patrick) Mcweeny, Ellen Dvorak, Dolores Puskaric; two Godchildren, Kathy Spitsik and Peter Kruczek; and relatives in Poland.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 pm on Thursday, Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am on Friday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 DelPrado Blvd. Entombment will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
