Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, May 3, 1935, the eldest child of Walter and Margaret Condroski, Richard or “Dick” as he was known to his Wisconsin friends and family was a graduate of Boys Tech High School. At age 17 he joined the United States Air Force and proudly served his country in the Korean War.
A charmer through and through, he met the fabulous Johnette Malkowski and in 1955 finally convinced her to be his bride. They would go on to have six children and lots of adventures during their 51 years together. Richard was a friend, avid hunter, lover of cocktails, crossword puzzles and spontaneous sing-a-longs.
Richard will be toasted earth side by his brother Ronald (Terri), sister Jeannie Zeimet, children Cheryl Reinke, Karen (Larry) Knippel, Richard Condroski Jr., Donna (Brian) Walker and Julie Faulds. His grandchildren Kyle Condroski, Collin (Kellie) Faulds, Courtney Faulds, Gavin (Carnell) Reinke, Adam Reinke, Hallie (Brandon) Sebena, Jake (Brittney) Knippel, Evan (Danielle) Knippel and four great grandchildren also join in toasting his memory and will never forget his oft heard warning of, “Don’t eat yellow snow.”
Joining Richard in heaven for his final sing-a-long are his wife, parents, brother, beloved daughter Debra Pionke and cherished grandson, Ryan Pionke.
A celebration of his life will be shared across many states and taverns until our legs get slurped off, just how he would have liked it.
