I am so sorry for your loss.  He was sych a sweet guy in high school.  I know he will be missed by everyone that ever had the pleasure of meeting him.  My thoughts are with you as you try to sort through all of this.

I feel very fortunate to have spent the first 18 years of my life growing up with Mike Crutchfield.  He was the best neighbor, friend, and honorary brother anyone could ever wish for.

As kids, we got into lots of childhood mischief together, along with the rest of the great gang from 109th Avenue: Vonchie, Dee Dee, Natalie, Linsey, Kevin, Jeff, Little David, Phil, Jimmy, and George.  It was the best of times, all the time. 

As teenagers, Mike became a caring and protective brother figure to all of us girls on the block.  To echo Natalie's sentiment, Mike always watched out for us, both in the "hood" and at school.  He was extremely caring and kind hearted and was always there when you needed him.  

Mike grew up to be an honorable man with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and the ambition to make his dreams and ideas become realities.  He was respected by everyone who had the good fortune of knowing him.

I will never forget Mike’s great smile, his laugh, and all of the wonderful memories we shared together.  He will be missed but never forgotten.

What I remember most about Mike is his love and commitment for his family and friends, especially his mom, Faye.  A protective instinct to those close to him and a constant fairness with everyone around him.  And his desire to be a good friend is what made him, Mike.

Mike touched many lives, and as a man of integrity he is sorely missed. I was rather shocked at hearing of his death at so young an age, as all who knew him, and  wish all his friends and family sincere condolences.

I was so shocked and saddened to learn of Mikey's passing.  His Deli is near our shop and we knew him for the past 6 years or so.  He was a very kind man who would always stop over to chat or bring us plates of food.

Mike played football for me at Southwest High School. Not the biggest or the fastest, but always up-beat and commited. Our paths crossed several times after graduation (I even got rib coupons from him!) and it was clear that as a grown man, he always remained the same pleasant and honorable person he was as a teenager. Mike's life personified the following, "The man with honor is, and always will be, the better man". He and his family will be in my prayers.

I first met Mike while he was an undergrad at FSU, and a member of the Chi Phi Fraternity.  Mike had a way of lighting up a room when he walked into it, with his big smile and great sense of humor.  He was such a caring individual and touched the lives of so many of us who knew him.  He is already greatly missed.  Eternally, Fraternally!

My heart aches but the memories of the "hot" young man that all of the young Kendall girls longed for will live on.  I will keep a close eye on your mom and always in my prayers...But I know you will always be with her...

I remember Mike from when we were much younger in Miami.  He was always nice to me even though he was my older brothers buddy.  I pray that Angels wrap their arms around you right now and comfort you in your time of loss and pain....God Bless and know you are in my prayers and thoughts....
