Michael Graham Caney

In loving memory of Michael Graham Caney, who passed unexpectedly on December 7th, 2023. He was a cherished father, devoted husband, loving son, dear nephew, cousin and a loyal friend. His warmth, kindness, and impact on those around him will be deeply missed.

Michael, not only a beloved family member and friend, but also a dedicated entrepreneur, owned two successful venture’s- Hurricaney Enterprises and the vibrant restaurant, Lit Coco. His entrepreneurial spirit and passion for his businesses touched the lives of many leaving a lasting legacy in the business community.

Michael was a man of many talents, leaving a mark as a skilled chef who opened five successful restaurants. Known for his vibrant personality, he loved catering to people and being the life of the party. His passion extended to deep-sea fishing and boating with his family and he found joy in staying active with workouts and hosting’s BBQs by the pool. His zest for life and diverse interests created lasting memories for all who shared in his adventures.

Michael Graham Caney is survived by his two young boys, Bryson and Tyson; his wife Renee Caney; mother Carolyn Caney; aunts Linda Oben, Rita Oben, Colleen Reeves; uncles Don Oben, Gary Oben and survived by fifteen cousins, in-laws, along with many other extended family members and cherished friends. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life gathering for Michael will be held Monday, December 11th, 2023 from 4:00 – 5:00 PM at Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery, 950 Chiquita Blvd S, Cape Coral, Florida. A celebration of life service will occur 5:00 – 5:30 PM, following with reception from 5:30-7:00 PM. All friends of Michael and friends of family invited.
