Michael Lee Ball, 65, of Cape Coral, FL passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015 after a lengthy illness. He was born March 8, 1949 in Del Rio, TN to William and Clara Lee Arrington Ball. A 1967 graduate of East Peoria Community HS in East Peoria, IL, Michael joined the United States Marine Corps upon graduation and married Gail Hance June 22, 1974. He was an avid hunter, reader, motorcyclist, beloved father, wonderful grandfather and loving husband. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Michael is survived by his wife of 40 years Gail; 3 children Angela Schroeder, Jeremy (Bridgette) Ball and Nicole (Jason) Ford, all of Cape Coral; 5 grandchildren Bryana Barnewolt, Natalie, Alexander, Lily Ball and Abigail Ford; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, March 10th at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, Cape Coral, FL.
