Mary R Kowaleski

Mary Regina “Jean” Kowaleski, 92, of North Fort Myers, FL passed away at Hope Hospice on Thursday, October 11, 2012. Born January 26, 1920 in Baltimore, MD to James and Edith (Murbach) Doyle, Jean was educated in Baltimore where she became an accomplished hairdresser and stylist. After marrying her then husband Richard F Kowaleski at the Buckingham Field Air Base in Ft. Myers, they moved to Chicopee, MA following WWII. She continued as a hair stylist in Springfield, MA ultimately moving back to Baltimore in 1967. She returned to Ft. Myers in 2002.

Jean leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved son Frederick (Joan Ritchie); dear sister Catherine Cebula, 2 cherished grandchildren Richard (Jenny) and Kristen (Gerald) Holland; 2 loving great grandchildren Lily and James and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church on Thursday, October 25th at 9:30am. A private inurnment will be held at the Coral Ridge Cemetery, Cape Coral, FL. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Hope Hospice, 2430 Diplomat Parkway East, Cape Coral, Florida, 33909.
