Marjorie Bowen Cole, age 61, passed away peacefully in her husband’s arms on February 14, 2022. She was born on November 21, 1960 in Miami, Florida. Marjorie was married to the love of her life, Kim Cole, of St. James City, Florida.
Marjorie was born in Miami, Florida in 1960. She is survived by her two brothers, Fernando and Bryan and her mother, Maria Bowen. She went to grade school in North Miami at Holy Family School. Then she attended Monsignor Edward Pace High School in Opa-Locka, FL, from 1974-1978.
Marjorie in her twenties, enlisted in the Air Force. Where she climbed up the ranks to an E-6, Technical Sargent. She served in the USAF for a total of 7 years including both active and reserve duty. Marjorie worked for the Electronic Security Command (ESC), her Military career included traveling and living in the Philippines, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Okinawa, Texas, Mississippi and Maryland.
Marjorie graduated with honors from West Chester University in Pennsylvania with an MBA, Masters in Business Administration. Marjorie also earned a Bachelor’s in Finance from Barry University in Miami Shores, FL. In addition to an Associates degree in Information Technology.
After the military, Marjorie moved from Florida to Pennsylvania after receiving her Bachelors degree to focus on her financial career, where she worked primarily in big Pharma for 20 years.
Marjorie felt so lucky to have found the love of her life. He meant the world to her. She always said, I am truly blessed with God and my husband.
Marjorie loved to have family over to entertain and have others enjoy. She always had a smile on her face. She was the eternal optimist. Nothing made her happier than being outdoors hiking, camping, kayaking or cooking for family and friends.
Marjorie could often be found in the sunroom working on her puzzles. She cherished natures beauty, from the open blue water to the majestic mountains. She had a smile that would light up a room. Everyone wanted to be with her because she was so sweet and uplifting. She will truly be missed.
