Jean went to be with the Lord on June 5, 2024 at the age of 90 with family by her side. She was born August 6, 1933 in Rochester, New York to the late Donald Jones and Wilhelmina (Jones) Proseus.
She was an avid reader and self-taught painter with canvasses in Europe and the United States. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, gossip magazines and fishing on the pontoon boat.
Jean was part of the Cape Coral Moose Lodge and a participant in the Tahiti Village Variety Show. She loved traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
She was predeceased by husband Bernie Czebatul of 49 years and husband Harold Montgomery of 9 years, sons David and Robbie Czebatul and sister Norma Miller.
Jean is survived by her children Nancy (Chuck) Bropst, Bernie (Tessa) Czebatul and Michael (Kelly) Czebatul, two stepbrothers Donald (Susie) Jones and Gary (Lizette) Jones along with 8 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren and one on the way.
A celebration of life will be privately held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Https://act.alz.org
