

Andre was born on September 26, 1927 to Christian Milfort and Madeleine Orelien Milfort in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. He spent his early life at Portail St Joseph in a quarter well-known as “La Cour Milfort” and his later years in Cape Coral, Florida.
Andre worked as an architect, a career which he was extremely passionate about. Over the years, he designed several notable buildings (schools, hotels, homes, etc.) in Haiti, which today a few are still standing. He was a dedicated member of the Grand Orient d’Haiti Masonic Lodge.
In addition to his parents, Andre is preceded in death by his siblings; Cleomie, Castel, Herne, Leisner, Joubert, Argentine, Maude, Elizabeth and his sons; Christian, Michelet and Horace.
He is survived by his twin sisters; Paula and Antonia, his children; Madeleine, Carlo, Lesly, Dreyfus, Dominique, Andrelene, Sony, Mirlande E., Carole, Marie Andree, Lugens, Mirlande P., Magalie, Noemie, Myriam, Barbara, Richcard and several sons & daughters in law, cousins, nieces, nephews, grand children, great grand children, and one great-great-grandchild.
Andre was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. He will be fondly remembered by his children for his tenacity for life and his love for sharing about life’s lessons, advice and quotes.
The family will receive friends from 6PM - 8PM on Friday, March 20th, 2015 at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 SW Pine Island Rd, Cape Coral, FL., followed by a homegoing service on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 10 AM, at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
