On Wednesday, June 12, 2019 LaTrice Cannon Davis, 40 of Cape Coral, Florida entered eternal rest. LaTrice was born on June 22, 1978 to Robin Cannon and Kelvin Moore. She attended Henrico County Public School of Richmond, Virginia. LaTrice attended Virginia Commonwealth University were she received her Bachelors of Science in Health Education and Exercise Science. She later received her Masters in Science and Health Administration.
LaTrice married Jabari Davis on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship on November 21, 2002. Of this union two children were born. McCoy Isaiah Davis (son, 15), and Payton Janelle Davis (daughter, 14).
LaTrice was Vice President of Operations for Lee Physicians Group and previously served as Director of Operation of Pediatrics in partnership with Emad Salman, MD at Golisano Children's Hospital. LaTrice assisted with expanding and opening clinics in Charlotte and Collier counties. She was also very active in Community Service in Progressive Women's Group.
Additionally LaTrice helped with developing new pediatric specialties and oversaw continued improvement in the operations. LaTrice loved spending time with her family and traveling with her children for football and cheerleading. Family time was an essential part of LaTrice's life. She enjoyed the beach, swimming, running, reading, creating new food dishes for her family, and relaxing. Her favorite vacation destination was Nags Head Beach, North Carolina. Her perfect day is enjoying her family and kids.
She is survived by her loving family including her husband, Jabari Davis; children, McCoy Isaiah Davis and Payton Janelle Davis; mother, Robin Cannon of Cape Coral; father Kelvin Moore of Richmond; brother LaTwan (Ashley) Rhodes, sisters, Dementria (Auntwan) Gordon, Kelsy Moore; grandmother, Eunice Moore; mother in law, Andrea Davis; brother in law, Khary (Ariva) Davis, Sarad (Heather) Davis; aunts, Sharon (Marvin) Johnson, Demerese Cannon, Roslyn Moore; nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. LaTrice is preceded in death by grandfathers, LaVern “Sonny” Cannon and Steve Moore; grandmother, Patricia Cannon.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00pm, Monday, June 17, 2019 at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 SW Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral. Memorial Services will begin at 10:00am, Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at the Burroughs Home Pavilion, 2505 First Street, Fort Myers, followed by a reception in the Bourroughs Home.
