Larry was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to his parents Jack and Dorothy Henderson. He spend most of his life in Florida. He graduated in 1963 from Seacrest Highschool in Delray Beach, Florida where he was the star running back for the highschool football team and was an all American conference athlete his junior and senior year. He then continued his education and athletics at The University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida. Shortly after he served in the United States Navy as a Seabee in Vietnam (1967-1968). After the service he spend 22 years as an owner operated of the Pink Citrus Trailer Park in Bokeelia, Florida. His passions included spending time with his family, traveling, and flying his numerous airplanes he owned over the years.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Dana Henderson, two daughters Lara Fearns (William Fearns), and Dina Wagner (Michael Wagner). Along with three grandchildren Austin Fearns, Emily Fearns, and Ashley Wagner.
