Sis, I only have known you as a sweet and wonderful sister. I remember the time that I was in grade school and you tried to teach me how to get my two left feet to work properly so I could dance at a rec night at school and how terrified I was to dance with girls. You told me I would be fine. I remember you and Vern gave me my first job at the gas station with you running the restaurant and Vern the station. I had it made! You made the best pies around! Our lives took different courses and I missed you for many years. We both have had some rough times but that made us better. I'll miss you with all my heart, but we will meet again.

To June's family.  
We share your sorrow over the loss of June. When she married my father she treated all of us as her own family and we loved her as part of ours. We shared many family meals together when her and Dad came to Gananoque in the summers and I miss our trips to see them while they were here. May she rest peacefully knowing that we will remember her with love.

Dear June, we will always cherish our time with you. You made my father very happy and for that we are very grateful.  The times you came north were highlights of our summer, and our winter visits to Florida were always full of fun and good times.  I will always remember our passionate discussions around the breakfast table on all kinds of subjects.  I loved to tease you about some of the differences between Canadians and Americans, although after a while, you were wise to my jokes. There are so many of us in Canada that were enriched by knowing you from Allan's immediate family - kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren to his sister in laws and brothers in Western Canada and his nieces and nephews, as well as Gananoque friends.  We will never forget you.  May you have eternal peace.

Grandma I have so many memories running through my mind of good times spent with you. You taught me so many things and I am so thankful that you are my Grandma. You created a beautiful family and that legacy will continue to live on. I love you so much and will miss you so much. I take comfort knowing you went peacefully and knowing how much we all love you.
